Book Review
I'm going to start by saying thank you to Mrs. Wright for allowing us to host the wicked cravings blog tour. As many of you know I have been a huge fan of her work and it truly was an honor!
Now let’s get down to some hot sexy alpha male wolf business. Wicked cravings is book #2 of the Phoenix pack series. I have eagerly been awaiting this book because let's just say book one left me WOWED! This is Dante and Jamie's story.
Dante is the hot beta of the pack, leader of the enforcers, an OCD workaholic, and not a relationship type of man. Dante is Mr. Take care of everyone else but himself. With all the alpha maleness oozing from him what woman in her right mind would sign up for this job you ask?
Let me introduce you to Jamie. She is one of the newest members of the pack along with her brother Gabe. She is curvy, funny, beautiful, caring (scenes dealing with her animal shelter job, sigh) and oh ya not a submissive female at all... Yup this woman has quite a mouth on her, lol.
Jamie has loved Dante since they were children, but Unfournately her advances weren't meet with the same enthusiasm. Well Jamie's feelings change after she one day overhears Dante say she's “NOT HIS TYPE”.
This was my first WTH wow moment. Operation ignore Dante and move on with life is now a go......OR is it? One thing I can say is when you stop showing a man attention, ONE POINT WOMENS TEAM! Lets just say Dante FINALLY saw what was in front of his face after all this time. The game of cat and mouse Dante/Jamie played as this story played out can only be described as sweet, annoying and LOL funny at times. The chemistry between these was intense.
Of course no love story is complete without drama and secrets. This story was no different. Throw a crazy ex girlfriend/first love, a possible love child, crazy brothers of a meaningless fling, and a wolf with possible PTSD ( yes you guessed it she can't control her wolf...Danger lights flashing) into the pot....this equals one drama/action packed story and that’s just what Mrs. Wright delivered with this book. Will Jamie have enough faith/trust in her and Dante's relationship to overcome all the obstacles thrown at them? Better yet will her wolf?
I loved Dante and Jamie's character. Dante fought for Jamie and her wolf during the good, bad, and downright ugly (fist pumps). In my book that equals a good man/wolf.

The supporting characters in this book I loved as well. My favorite had to be Trey's grandmother. The convos she had with Jamie in this book, SMH. Let’s just say GRANNY has a mouth on her, lol.
While i liked this book, book one of this series feral sins Unfournately is still my favorite. As I’ve said on so many occasions it had one of the best sex scenes I've ever read. Yes like mouth opening wow moment! So of course I had high hopes for wicked cravings. Unfournately, it didn't hold my attention throughout the whole book as well as the first did. However, make no mistake this book was hot, sexy and as drama field as the first.
