I have been eagerly waiting and waiting for the next black dagger brotherhood book! I first came across this series a year ago when I started my residency. An OR nurse suggested it and I haven't tuned back since. It took me a few months to make it through the current series and I loved each and every book!

This is the love story of two best friends Qhuinn and Blaylock. Thinking back to the infamous kiss that almost gave me a heart attack in lover enshrined started it all. This is book 11 of this series. While Blay is a major part of this book we get to see into qhuinn's life..... the good, ugly an down right F'ed up! I love all the characters in this series so far, yes even the annoying bad guys. This whole series while rather lengthy has flowed so well I have always wanted/craved more.

Let me start by saying I LOVE Qhuinn's character. The description of him in this book is basicly genetics gone wild. He has a defect of one blue eye/one green eye but trust me the rest of him is all 100% male sexiness. This boy screams and oozes danger which Mrs. Ward made into one sexy read. Ok enough gushing for now.

Qhuinn's life has been anything but easy. So let me catch you up a little bit. He has no family. His original family disowned him ,tried to have him killed and they were eventually all murdered. The constants in his life are his best friends Blay and John. This story takes a turn from previous books where Blay/qhuinn's feelings become stronger for one another. Oh ya the chemistry is there, like to the point of its right in your face obvious. Have you ever wondered what a scary emotional alpha male vampire in love is like? Read the book...some scenes were so intense the hair on my arms stood up.

Blay is out the closet and dating qhuinn's cousin to try to get over qhuinn. Let just say lack of communication between Blay/qhuinn in this book made for some awesome scenes. Qhuinn would be classified as bi sexual before this book. He's fighting his feelings for Blay and its a loosing battle.

The life Qhuinn has built for himself in this book I was fist pumping, crying,and so so dang happy all around. He proved himself to be a man of WORTH. Blay/Qhuinn's story was one of raw and intense emotion with all the extra added drama/vampire fighting to go with it. Oh ya did I mention Qhuinn is going to be a papa lol ( read the book!).

I'm not going to go into lots of detail about the other characters and drama. BUT know its very juicy lol. Mrs. Ward as usual did an awesome job of leaving the reader with the mind blowing question of whose having the next book???
I loved this book from beginning to end. I will say I got my happy ending for Blay/Qhuinn.

Great job as usual Mrs. Ward! Can't wait for the next book!
