Amazon Decription
Mae Turney is searching for the type of life and happiness she has never known but has only dreamed about. She's fortunate enough to find a great opportunity to live in an exterior apartment of a beautiful lake house in a small town in Vermont. When she realizes the apartment and scenery are not the only gorgeous appeal but the home owner, Seth Finn, is as well, she puts it all on the line for the chance at love. When she becomes comfortable and confident in her own skin and sexuality, Mae realizes that this place and this man is exactly what she came looking for. Knowing Seth and his three children are as special as they come, Mae bets the house, and prays she and her gamble are enough.

Review
Three of Hearts is the first book in the Hamden series. Seth never thought he would meet anyone else after his love Maggie tragically died and Mae was so used to being alone and depending only on herself she was not looking for love. The spark between these two is immediate and HOTT!! Mae and Seth get hot and steamy and W. Ferraro wastes no time diving into it! Seth's three kids love Mae and welcome her openly, especially his little Spitfire!
Everything was too perfect of course and my stomach was in knots waiting to see what was going to happen, something ALWAYS happens! I was so worried about the outcome of the conflict, it had me in tears! Seth's handle on things made me want to jump through the pages and smack some sense into him! I will not ruin the ending for you guys though.
When I first began reading this I thought it was a little rushed and I wasn't going to care for it. Boy was I wrong!! I became so consumed by all the characters and their stories! I have this image in my head of Seth as a lumberjack!! a VERY sexy one! W. Ferraro did such a wonderful job filling us with love and angst and MANY HOTT scenes! By the end I was a blubbering baby and sad it was over! I will be reading more from W. Ferraro and cannot wait to get into book two Three of Spades!!
Cheers,
Erika
