Good Reads Description:

When Abby and Noah meet, there is an explosive attraction between them that neither can deny...

As a shy, awkward, social misfit, Abby has gone her whole life feeling as though she's different from everyone else and she simply doesn't fit in well with society as a whole. She longs to feel a real connection with someone, and she finally does when she meets Noah.

Unbeknownst to Abby, Noah is from another world and his sole purpose is to hunt down the evil of his people that was unleashed on Earth hundreds of years ago. He's certain he isn't going to be able to return to his home, and anger and the need for revenge are his constant companions. His focus has been eradicating the evil and making them pay for taking his life on his world away from him.

Noah tries desperately to fight his attraction to Abby so he can keep his focus on his mission. But when Abby gets dragged into the evil and mayhem from Noah's world, he realizes that maybe with Abby he can find a home here on Earth...if he can save her in time.

Book Review:

Man I love my kindle Freebies. Thank you Mrs. Fall for giving me a hot Mothers day read equipped with Hot 6’8 abs/buns of steel bad boys.  Let me introduce you to the warriors of SR44 sent to earth to remove/kill some of the most dangerous men to ever walk the face of the earth. For example Jeffery dahmer ring a bell. Oh ya got your attention. Mrs. Falls writing was gripping from the beginning pages and kept me intrigued in this mission/lives of six hot men all the way to the end.

“Noah and Hudson excelled at fighting and killing. Talin was a master at anything computer related-the resident tech head. Cohen was the healer of the group. Rayner, the only warrior who was a forest dweller on SR44, had the ability to see spirits that didn’t reside on this plain or the next- the spirits that were just stuck between their bodies and whatever aftrer life they had earned. And lastly, Jovan had the ability to feel glimmer of a persons emotions if he could physically touch them”.

This is Noah’s story.  He left his home planet over 200 years ago thinking this mission would be simple but it has been anything but that. He has walked earth for over 200 years as a shell of a man, until he one day gets a phone call from a reporter wanting to interview him about his profession. Everything screams at him to say NO but there is something about her voice that makes him loose all sense of self.

Abby is a crime reporter for a local newspaper in Reno. Not happy with her life or her job, a photo of a crime scene crosses her desk and something sparks in her. How/where has she seen this mysterious tall dark and handsome man talking to the officer on the scene? It’s seriously a sense of Deja vu. Regardless she takes a chance and calls Mr. mysterious for an interview and next thing you know their meeting at a local coffee shop.

Needless to say the chemistry from the first touch between these two was hot and beautiful. The want/need the two of them felt for each other when they were apart was intense. When they were together a sense of peace/home surrounded them. But of course there is always drama and secrets. Can Noah trust Abby with the secrets of his kind and even with his heart. His life he has believed that falling in love and consummating that love would lead to a failure of his mission (he would loose his SR44 spirit). How could he be with Abby and not give her all of him? So of course he does the typical man thing and dumps her, JERK!

A broken hearted Abby spirals into depression and throws herself in to work. Unfortunately the evil powers at be (the colonist) also had her on their radar. As this story continues to play out fate puts Abby/Noah back in each others path. Abby’s fight to stay alive and Noah’s to keep her alive was one of pure raw emotion. Trust me the fight scenes, Sex scenes, and banter between brothers/family made this a intense page turning read.

I loved all the characters in the book. The reader was given a taste of all the brothers personalities (I can’t wait to read their stories). I loved abby/noahs characters as well. Abby grew up her whole life felling like she was different and something was missing. With all the drama, secrets, lies and near death experiences will Noah/abbys love be enough to make them choose a life together despite life’s circumstances?

For all my lovers of the Black dagger brother hood series take a chance on this series. Instead of vampires or werewolves Mrs. Fall gives her readers an alien species from one of the most beautiful planets I ever heard described in a book. The picture she paints of these men think colors of the Rainbow from their bodies glow (when their turned on , wink) to their alpha male personalities/moods.

Great Job Mrs. Fall. I cant wait to continue this series! This series has easily made it to my list of what to read after Black Dagger Brother hood series.

Cheers,
Dr. Books
