Review:
Sometimes I wonder how I'm going to like anything else after reading a book that blows my mind. Thinking that there is no way I could find something else that good. This is one of those books! I LOVED it!! This is not your typical boy meets virgin who can't trust people and gets her heart!
Yes she was a virgin, but that's not where we start. We start three years into Dean and Liv's marriage. This story is one of the most, if not the most, realistic and relatable ones I have EVER read. Sometimes I wanted to smack Dean for being so stupid, but then we get parts from his POV and it makes sense.
They are truly soul mates but no marriage is perfect. Every marriage goes through a rough time and you question things, but its how you handle those situations and the actions you take that help you make it through. This is Liv and Dean's story of how you could have the best intentions and things don't always go as planned.
Liv brings up a topic that the had discussed prior to marriage and it brings up secrets to Dean's past that she knew nothing about! It makes her question herself and everything she thought she knew. Her actions then cause things to go from bad to worse! They love each other so much, and sometimes it takes something to rock the boat for you to appreciate what you have. Do they get a happy ending? FYI have a tissue box on stand by!!! It's a tear jerker!

Nina Lane does it again! Liv and Dean's story continues and things are still shaky. They are determined to find a way back to each other, to be a family. Can you find your way back to your love? Can you trust in them again when it was all shattered? Can you change yourself to be what they need you to be?
Tragedy strikes in Dean's family and he must go home to visit his family. Dean does not want Liv to go, and even though his family dislikes her she is determined to be there for her husband. She wants to fix what is broken and will not take no. While there Helen is everywhere and it bothers Dean more than Liv.
But of course the rough road is only beginning in California. While there Dean learns a former student is making some "concerns" known about Dean and it must be investigated. Things are so fragile with Liv and this might make them worse. The sex is great, but that cant keep a marriage together. Will he continue to keep secrets to protect her?
I LOVED the continuation of their story as much as book 1! I don't know if its because I am married and I know what it can be like to have drastic hurdles to leap not knowing how things will turn out, but I connected with these books and fell in love.
