Book Review:
HOLY CRAP where do I even begin? First if you haven't read If I were you (book 1), stop everything and go to your nearest kindle/nook site and start. This series by Mrs. Jones was recommended to me last year by a nurse at my hospital from her what to read after fifty shades list. After I read book one i was hooked. Needless to say when I received this book for review I was like a kid in a candy store, literally!
SH**! This maybe one of the hardest reviews I've had to write. Why you ask? Because Mrs. Jones reveals secrets that basically answered all my questions from book 1. Like WTH happened to Rebecca? Got your attention now.... Yup this one is a nail bitter full of mystery, sex, foreplay, murder etc.
This book starts pretty much where book 1 ended. Chris/Sara are together (trying to work on a relationship), Sara still works for mark, mark still has that sexy/dark/mysterious/dangerous thing going on, and Ella is still MIA. Mrs. Jones takes the reader on a emotional roller coaster ride in this one with all characters involved. The underground world of darkness that lurked from book one comes to the forefront in this one.
The emotional state of the three main characters in this one tugged on my heart so much in the book. Sara was annoying to me at times but the demons of her past push to the surface. The fall out from it left me with a mouth hanging open/WTH/fist pumping moment. Chris/Sara's relationship could only be described as unstable and passionate. TRUST issues hardcore with them. Mark was still a creep to me at times during this book but I sort of developed a soft spot for him.
This book was AWESOME! The way Mrs. Jones was able still give the reader a passionate love story amongst all the darkness was amazing. I wasn't able to turn the pages fast enough. I have so much more u want to talk to you guys about but I CAN'T! PULLING HAIR OUT MOMENT! Mrs. Jones you have once again out done yourself. I'm needing book 3 ASAP!
