Kristen Ashley you have done it again!
When I first found out that mrs. Ashley was creating a new series as a spin off of motorcycle man I screamed. As a huge fan of her work I can honestly admit I was amazon stalking this one. However do to outside powers called WORK this one sat in my library on my TBR list for way to long. Yup all I could do was smh after I made it past the first chapter. One thing I can always depend on mrs. Ashley to deliver is a hot alpha male and a kick a** heroine. This book was no different!
This is the story of tabby Allen and parker shy cage. You may remember tabby from motorcycle man, yup she's one in the same. None other than tack Allen's daughter. When this story starts tabby is a nineteen year old wild child in a sense. She finds her self In a less than ideal situation and Shy comes to her rescue. Well one thing we can always count on with alpha males is them being grade A jerks at times. Yup shy had his moment which leads to him giving tabby a harsh dose of reality and him loosing her friendship.
With shy out of the picture tabby focuses on her life. She has a nursing career and has fallen in love with a nice guy whose not from the biker world. Shy on the other hand continues to drown himself in the biker lifestyle of alcohol and lots of women. Well their paths cross again after Tradgey strikes tabby's life. Her fiancé is killed.
Not able to watch a once full spirited/full of life tabby drift away from reality, shy steps in to try to salvage whats left of a broken tabby. A friendship that was once lost rekindles and an unspoken love is finally declared. Ofcourse no love story is ever easy and with theirs were tons of consequences.
Not able to keep their relationship secret anymore shy/tabby are met with anything you can name but acceptance. This part of the story was my favorite and the most heart wrenching. Shy's life/family has been the chaos biker club but this day he showed all parties involved what tabby Allen truly meant to him. She was his WORLD and worth leaving the only family he's ever known. The united front these two displayed was amazing and had me smiling ear to ear as I read this.
I loved this book! Tabby/shy's story was a drama filled and heart felt one. Great job Mrs. Ashley!
