This one almost not reading it. Getting through the prologue was something in itself that I had to put it down and walk away.
Coming back to it you meet Jane and Scott, the perfect couple, in love.. oh wait... Not the perfect couple, well at least as far as Jane is concerned. After Falling in love with Scott, he becomes a stranger to her, someone she doesn't even recognize, losing herself in the long run. Why? Oh how I would love to tell you but... I won't.
Enter the 4... Kage, Garret, Tony and Lance. Garret being Jane's brother, the other 3 working with him at the garage his father left him and his sister, and running an investigative business within.
Jane returns home, telling her brother eventually what was really going on, why she stayed away and what the man she thought she loved and chose over her family and friends was and did..
Things begin to take a turn with Kage. Seeming to get her life back on track and to normal, she explores her feelings, memories of being turned away as a teenager. Can she move forward?
Then the night of all night's her nightmare is back, a gun to her chest. The story unfolds from there, but you're just going to have to read this amazing book to find out anything more and what is in the beginning and in between.
