While fashion design major Caroline Hunter may have been born economically unlucky, in college, she’s been lucky in love. Until her senior year at Southern University. She’s gone from a serious long term boyfriend to a string of crappy dates.

Book Review:
Wow is the word that comes to mind when I think about this book. Mrs. Swank gave me project runway but with a sexy/straight talking/teacher on the panel. Seriously reed in my mind is none other than harvey from the tv show Suits. I know I know WTH right. This is what happens when you read and watch some of your favorite tv shows during the same time frame lol. Ok moving on!!!
Caroline is a beautiful/bombshell and a fashion design major. Many would say she's a gold digger because her type of man is Mr. Deep pockets. Caroline's life hasn't been all roses. She refuses to live her life the way she did growing up. You know the saying "money can't buy you happiness....love doesn't pay the bills..." Came to mind as I was reading this story. Well Caroline is now single and on the rebound. However the one man she can't stand ( I mean they didn't hit it off from the beginning pages, serious love/hate relationship) is the one that she wants...Chemistry anyone!
BUT there's one problem besides he annoys her, he's a math major pursing a teaching degree. Ummm teachers are pretty under paid so he.s not meeting her general type of mr. Deep pockets.
The love/hate relationship of Caroline/reed took on a new meaning when reed was the lead on a project Caroline was working on. Oh FUN! For me as a reader heck yes! I loved reeds character. He was a straight talking man and he didn't hold his tongue when it came to Caroline. Beneath all the banter of these two was some serious chemistry. I was team reed from the beginning of this one. But will Caroline be able to put aside her insecurities and take a chance on LOVE?
Great job mrs. Swank! I can't wait to read more from you.
