Synopsis
Alexa Drake is at the top of her game. Heading up the London office for Patrick Collins Media, she’s done what it takes to get to the top and have the career and independence she’s always wanted. Her life in London is everything she’s worked hard to achieve, and she revels in her newfound control. If only she could forget the one man who brings her to her knees. Literally.
Scott Patrick is successful, commanding, and the kind of man women dream about. He’s also responsible for Alexa’s career success and her twisted view of love. Scott is a master at avoiding commitment and emotions and always thought of himself as the kind of guy who would never settle down. So why can’t he get Alexa out of his head?
When Scott suddenly turns up in London, Alexa has to decide if she can open herself up to the same man that broke her heart or if she’s ready to give someone new a chance.

Scott stands and paces the living room, running his hands over his head. She’s never seen him so agitated. Alexa is shocked to realize his angst over her is a complete turn on.
“You’re enjoying this, aren’t you? Driving me crazy like this,” he asks.

Super HOTT read!!! Alexa meets Scott when she interviews for he position as his assistant. He is known to be a hard ass and very demanding. He never has an assistant that last more than a year, but she is determined. He propositions her with a deal; in exchange for teaching her everything she needs to know to rise above and be successful in the company she must be his submissive. Part of that is teaching her to have no emotions. So why when he tells her it's over is she so distraught?
Fast forward a year and Alexa is now running the London office and there is nothing submissive about her. She is known for being HOTT and a bitch. Scott along with Brett own the company and Brett wants to meet her after great reports of the London office. What Alexa doesn't know is that Scott will be coming too. Their last encounter 6 months prior when he made an un-announced visit didn't go so well and Alexa dreads being around him. But Scott won't back down! And now Brett is in pursuit also!
Scott tells Alexa he wants her back and will do anything! Alexa just can't get over the things he said and did to her, so she uses Brett to make him jealous. Only she didn't plan on liking it! Now she is in control. Can Scott convince her that it was all done for her, not to hurt her? Can she forgive him? Can he accept that she is not the same innocent Alexa anymore? That she likes control too?
I could not put this book down! It starts in the present with Alexa running the London office for a year already but we get glimpses into the past and learn more and more about her relationship with Scott. You've got to be some woman to be able to handle a man like him!!! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!
The point of view jumps around so you know what everyone is thinking in each event, so there's no questions there. And if you are looking for a HOTT read then this is it!!!
