Make some room ladies for there is a new man in town! Ahh, Elijah Cade= sex on a stick, bad ass, cocky and straight up irresistible.

Sugartown is a small town just right off the highway. Ana has lived there her whole life and working at a diner that her dad owns. She dreams of leaving town but she can't. Ana is known as the town's slut due to her ex-boyfriend because she didn't give him what she wanted, so therefore rumors fly. She also helps raise her little brother which omg I totally fell in love with. He has a lisp and it's the cutest and the things he says will downright make you laugh your ass off.

Elijah Cade comes riding into town and starts working for her Ana's dad at his mechanic shop. Her dad is fiercely protective and warns Elijah to stay away from her. He tries but he can't. We all know that Elijah is running because of his past but he never talks about and avoids the subject.

At first I had a little hard time getting into the story just because it seems like the same stuff that you read about but that quickly changes let me tell you. Absolutely love loved this story because you can definitely expect the unexpected. A series of events happens and it's just knocks you flat out on your ass. I'm still reeling it all in. Be prepared for this rollercoaster ride as you will have to so many emotions. You will laugh and cry and want to throw whatever you read on through the window. Don't let the cover fool you and think it's going to be all hearts and flowers because it's not. You will be happy at the end though so don't freak out :)

So I am having mixed feelings about this book.... Don't get me wrong, she is a phenomenal writer, I am just not sure I liked one particular part of the book. As you can see, Holly LOVED it, and I'm sure MANY others will too! I usually try not to include spoilers, but I have to bring it up so that you would understand my feelings and be able to decide whether you would agree or can look past it.

There is a scene that is cheating (even if he thought they weren't together) and I HATE that! Everyone has their things that are hard nos and cheating is mine. Without that though I would have given Sugartown a 5 star!

It's the typical girl from small town wants more and bad boy comes to save the day, or so I thought! It quickly changes and all these other factors come into play in Carmen's magically weaves web of choas that is so captivating you won't be able to put it down!

Carmen Jenner is a thirty-something author, doctor, pilot and CIA agent.

While Sugartown may not technically exist, Carmen grew up in a small Australian town just like it, and just like her characters, she always longed for something more. They didn't have an Elijah Cade, though. If they did, you can be sure she would have never left.
