Krista Ritchie has a clone...or someone who looks exactly like her. If she's not writing books with her twin sister, she's pouring over entertainment news and ingesting copious amounts of pop culture. She likes tennis, that thing called the TV, and beating Becca (her clone) on Sega Genesis. She created YA Book Exchange to combat her book buying addiction and started Nawanda Files, a YA Book Blog that features books into movies news, to share her love for all things bookish. Oh, and she does something called science. Whatever that is.
Krista & Becca Ritchie write New Adult books that make you cringe, gasp, and go ooh-la-la. (If you do that sort of thing.) They are currently working on the spin-offs and final books in the Addicted series. Connect with them on twitter and their website: kbritchie.com

I wasn't really sure how to rate this book. I have mixed feelings about it. The story line is very good and I've never read anything like this before. Lily is addicted to sex and Loren turns to alcohol. They are best friends and can count on each other but what they don't realize is that they are really hurting each other. They are living a lie and are pretending to be dating because of their families. This is definitely not your hearts and rainbows story. A lot of emotion and angst and really a total mind f*#k. My head was literally hurting with because it was just so much to take on at once. Lily family are a bunch of snobs especially her sisters and that just got on my nerves. Loren's dad is a complete asshole and I knew I wasn't going to like him. I really didn't get into the story until about 60% through. The story takes an unexpected turn and that's when it gets interesting and a jaw dropping moment.
I am looking forward to reading the next in the series because it leaves you with a cliffhanger, so I'm curious to see what happens with Lily and Loren. All in all, it was a decent story.
Cheers,
Holly
