I can tell right now that many of you will be envious of Mac's life! I mean seriously!!!! She is a no commitment girl who has her rotation of guys... Not 1, not 2, but 3 men!!! That is of course until Daniel joins the picture! Mac is what every guy in college is and what every girl at one point or another wishes she could be!!! The best part though is they ALL know the score! She is honest about it all and they are all ok with it; at least she thought the all were.
This book really is an amazing read! All of the characters were so awesome! Yes, even the men with Mac! They all gave her something different and didn't push her for more. They were even there to help her see the light. Kate, Mac's roommate and BFF is spunky and loyal and I can not wait to read her story in book 2!
Daniel is one of the most amazing book boyfriends and you crave his HEA. He was so wonderful with Mac even though she tried to fight her feelings for him. He will make you fall in love with him. You will go through every emotion while reading this book; it is a true emotional roller-coaster! It is one hell of a ride that I can't wait to do again!
This was my first BJ Harvey read and I cannot believe I did not find her sooner!! We had the perfect portions of love, sex, lust, confusion, happiness, sadness, and every other emotion you can feel! It really was an amazing read that I am so excited to share with you all! Mac is one hell of a character who is scarred by her past but doing what is best for her and not letting it tear her down like so many others would. AGAIN... GREAT BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!

Deleted Scene – Temporary Bliss
“Which boy of the week was that?” Kate asks with a smirk.
“Sean. I felt a little crazy last night so needed a spanking.”
I laugh as Kate spits her coffee out and starts choking.
“God dammit Mac, you’re so easy.”
“I’m not easy, I’m free spirited.”
“Free spirited with your body.”
“Hey now, no need to get jealous. It’s like having one boyfriend with four different talents. They’re all great at what they do, but there are particular things they excel at,” I say with a wink.
Kate giggles at that. I know she means well but I still feel the need to explain myself.
“Look, it’s what I like and it’s what I need right now. After Beau, I don’t want anything other than sex. They know the score and they’re fine with it.”
I don’t really feel the conviction in my last comment though. They’re supposed to know the score and be fine with it. But Daniel, I’m not so sure about anymore.
He seems too keen to see me, too disappointed when it’s time to leave, and has even broached the subject of catching a movie sometime. I’ve brushed it off but it is getting to the stage where I might have to break off our arrangement. It’s the last thing I want to do because he is just what I like to come home to after a long twelve hour shift. He’s the affectionate one. He’s always kissing me, nuzzling my neck, and God, the massages he gives me are to die for. Our lovemaking is soft and sensual, it;s lazy and hedonistic, it’s like a warm apple pie on a cold winter’s night. He’s my comfort sex. But get him fired up, and holy cow batman, that man can set me on fire.
