Tempo was a fun and fast read that I think all would enjoy! It gives you steam, love, broken spirits, whitty characters, and lots of emotions. The flow of the story was done really well, and you can picture everything that the author describes. Both main characters are lovable even when you find yourself shaking your head a few times.
Karlie has a broken past that she fights to overcome each day. She is an independent woman that is smart and talented at what she does. She is easily someone I could see myself befriending. Vincent of course has demons of his own that he is fighting and becomes so intrigued by Karlie that he can't stay away!
In this book you learn about their pasts little by little. I loved how it was not overdone and you get just enough to keep you engaged while reading. Great storyline and writing. Although I hope we get to see more, there is not cliffhanger and you get an ending.
