1. A clean house – because my co-author says that I am a freak of nature who is OCD.
2. A quiet area – this would mean that my children should be at school…way, way, far away at school.
3. A cappuccino blast from Baskin Robbins – and if my husband knows what’s good for him, there will be a spare in the freezer
4. My trusty computer – which I have been known to hit upside the monitor when it wants to be difficult
5. My phone - so I can call my co-author and grumble that the characters aren’t speaking to me
6. Instant messaging – so I can annoy my co-author when she is trying to write that one special section.
7. Chocolate – preferably in multiple forms or a milkshake. A good husband will provide Godivas. My husband ain’t always that good.
8. A comfy bed so I can curl up on my pillows while writing – ‘cause let’s face it…who wants to have to always sit at a desk?
9. That one niggling idea that is just demanding to be written – and won’t leave your mind alone until it is put on paper.
10. Inspiration. Remember, peeps, we write romantic and erotica. This inspiration has to come from somewhere. Husbands, do you hear this?????
