There are some mistakes we make that we will regret for the rest of our lives. For Christian Davison, it was the day he betrayed Elizabeth Ayers. For five years, Christian has regretted the day he walked away from his family and will do anything to win them back. Can Elizabeth forgive someone who has committed the unforgiveable? Or are there some wounds that go so deep they can never heal?
Amy Lichtenhan first found a love for writing during her days as a young mother and college student. She filled the journals she carried with short stories and poems used as an emotional outlet for the difficulties and joys she found in day-to-day life.
Years later, she shared a short story she’d been working on with her two closest friends, and with their encouragement, this story became her first full length novel, Pulled.
Amy resides in Southern Arizona where she lives with her husband and three beautiful children, where she enjoys the freedom of working from home. Her favorite pastime is spending time with the ones she loves.
I am a huge fan of mrs. Jackson's books. After each one my emotions have always been all over the place. Well this book was no different. This story was one of heartbreak, betrayal, forgiveness, mending hearts and hope. All I can say is WOW! This story broke my heart, made me angry and gave me moments of laughter as well.
In the beginning of this book we are introduced to two law students Christian and Elizabeth. Their budding relationship comes to stop when Elizabeth finds out she's pregnant. Refusing to have an abortion Elizabeth leaves law and Christian to focus on her child. All I can say at this point was wow and Christian was a major a**.
As the story continued Christian's life was never the same and we see that Elizabeth's wasn't either. As fate would have it Christian gets a second chance at fatherhood but Elizabeth doesn't make it easy on him. Christian's fight to get back the family he lost at times was a hard one to read. What's the old saying? hell knows no fury like a woman scorned... Well what about a scorned abused and hopelessly in love woman. Regardless this mama thought of one person first and one person only, her baby girl. Christian relationship with his daughter was a fun and heartwarming one to read.
I loved this book. This love story is one that will stick with you for days after you read it.
Great job mrs. Jackson.
