Finding bliss by Dina Silver Book Review

Chloe Carlyle has always longed for the perfect family. Growing up with an alcoholic single mother, she has seen her share of heartbreak and disappointment, and is striving to build a new legacy for herself. After graduating from college, she takes a job working as a summer girl for the Reeds - a wealthy, accomplished family that personifies her American dream. Her summer takes an unexpected turn when the Reeds' eldest son Tyler, the star quarterback for Notre Dame, shows up and turns her life upside down. An ambitious young woman with a wry sense of humor, Chloe never imagined herself as the type to succumb to the looks and charms of the hometown hero, but she falls hard for Tyler, and is devastated when they part ways at the end of the summer. As she heads off to law school, Chloe tries to convince herself this was just a fling, but she can't quite get over him. It's not until Tyler contacts her out of the blue late one winter night that everything changes. After doing everything in her power to build the perfect life, Chloe soon learns that there are things beyond her control. She must draw on inner reserves of strength as her life takes unpredictable - and sometimes heartbreaking - twists and turns, and she finds herself faced with decisions she never thought she?d have to make. Poignant, heartfelt, and emotional, Finding Bliss is a reminder that you don't have to live a fairy tale life in order to have a happy ending.

A graduate of Purdue University, Dina Silver has spent the past fifteen years feeding her red wine habit by working as a copywriter in the advertising industry. After seeing the bulk of her professional prose on brochures and direct mail pieces, she is delighted to have made the transition to novelist. She currently lives with her husband and son in suburban Chicago. Additionally, she loves talking about herself in the third person.

About books I review...
I am an author, so I appreciate the value of a 5-star review. I know that those stars mean more to an author, than they do to me as the reviewer who's doling them out. That being said, if I like a book at all, chances are I'm going to give it 5-stars. However, in the detailed description of my review is where I will attempt to explain what I actually thought of the book, so people can get a better idea of exactly how much I liked or loved it.

If I did not enjoy a book, or was unable to finish it, I simply will not review it. I have no interest in bashing anyone else's hard work.

Let me start by saying I had the privilege of meeting Mrs. silver at book bash this year. She was awesome. This was my first read by her. This book was recommended to me by many of my friends who also loved her book one pink line. I unfortunately didn't read one pink line before reading this one. With that being said I enjoyed this book in its entirety. In my opinion you don't have to read one pink line before finding bliss (it's not a sequel). However many of the characters in this one are introduced in one pink line.

This is the story of a brilliant intelligent woman who has had a far from perfect life but is now trying to build toward something greater. This is the story of CHOLE. She is a law student at northwestern with high hopes/dreams/aspirations but doesn't always make the smartest choices. Well as I personally no Graduate school is far from free, so to help easy that pain of the cost, she works  for the REED family for the summer. This family was entertaining to read about especially the mother. In my mind,  I seriously envisioned an old southern GEORGIA PEACH, lol.

Well of course this crazy family had to have one sane person (at times that was debatable) who just so happened to be the star quarterback at NOTRE DAME and major HOTTIE, tyler.  Have I mentioned how sexy I think football players are.... Hey I'm a true southern girl what can I say. From the first meeting of chole/tyler the chemistry is there hands down but there is always something that gets in the way.  For them a lot of it was just LIFE ( you have to read and you will understand) and maybe a MILD love triangle. Oh didn't I mention chole has a hot neighbor/friend.....yummy! You guys know how much I love a love triangle!!!

I really enjoyed this book. At moments I was confused and my emotions were all over the place ( just read it and you will understand). The character development in this book was great.

Good job mrs. Silver! I can't  wait to read more from you.

Cheers,
