Nicole Edwards has once did it again! Club Destiny is back and with the anticipating story of Xander and Mercedes. Is it possible for each one to get hotter and hotter? Well, we'll let you be the judge of that.
So, we have Xander Boone, who absolutely takes my breathe away. What else can you say about a man who knows what he wants and knows how to get it? We get introduced to Xander in Devotion as a real estate mogul who helps with the opening of the new club. Also, we get to see what he's getting ready to have some fun with Logan and Samantha huh? well, I'll just leave it right there for now. Xander is also a highly respected Dom, one fine piece of male specimen and did I mention tatted, and pierced?
Then we have Mercedes Bryant who is one gorgeous, dark-haired beauty. She's also in the real estate business but, hello? she's also one very highly respected Domme! Well it's about to heat up. Have you heard of two Dom's pairing up? No, I didn't think so.
So, like I said earlier, we see Xander and Mercedes at the end of Devotion getting ready to pair up with Logan and Samantha, right? Well, what you may think happens, is probably far off than what really does happened. I was in total awe in how Nicole Edwards went with this story and I couldn't have been more thrilled. Xander and Mercedes actually have known each other for years! Ever since Xander met Mercedes, she captured him like no other. For nearly a decade though he's masked his true feelings and well, he was tired of waiting so it was time to take control in one aspect he was familiar with. Since Logan and Sam have lost their "third" again, he turns to Xander. Xander believes that with Logan's need for dominance would be a great way to introduce them to the BDSM scene, so his devious plan to get Mercedes, come into play. Since Xander and Mercedes have been close friends for awhile, Xander convinces her to help him to "act" out a scene for Logan and Sam and have Mercedes be his Submissive. Of course, she doesn't know his real motive.
Mercedes had a rough upbringing hence needing to be in control of every aspect of her life, therefore she is naturally dominant. Xander perceives her to be submissive and keeping her true self hidden. He thinks he can break her and makes her a deal of giving herself to him for five days. Well lets just say, you're in for one heck of an emotional ride.
Nicole also introduces us to new characters and it appears that Elijah is up next in the Club Destiny Series title Entrusted. His character really intrigued me and I can't wait for his story and to see what Nicole has up her sleeve with him. He's also a Brit... yum! Shane who his Xander's best friend and also a good friend of Mercedes is such a character and I'm looking forward to his story in the future too. He's also a Dom and totally had me falling in love with him in this story too.
