Epiphany by Christina Jean Michaels Blitz

"For all the times I'd witnessed the murders of other women in my dreams, I'd failed to see my own."

For 23-year-old Mackenzie Hill, tossing her life down the garbage disposal is easy after a painful incident shatters her life. Her heart is bleeding, and moving to Watcher's Point is a chance to start anew, only she isn't prepared for the guy who walks out of her dreams and into the flesh. Literally...because she's been dreaming about this sexy stranger for years.

Mackenzie is even less prepared to face the dark nature of her dreams. They've turned disturbingly gruesome, full of blood and murder, and when they begin to coincide with the media's headlines, she and Aidan realize her visions might be the key to stopping a madman from killing again.

Only Aidan has painful secrets of his own, and perhaps the biggest danger of all is falling for him.

Review:

What a read!!! Seriously has you holding your breath for most of the book! This has mystery/thriller with a love story also! From page one your heart is being squeezed in your chest! It starts with Mac being taken by the serial killer!!! She has been seeing his victims and what they went though before being killed but she didn't see her own capture or death. You know she recognizes the killer but you will be guessing throughout the while book!

Mac ends up moving to the town her mom grew up in. She moved there after being betrayed and learning a HUGE secret her mother kept. Aiden shows up in town also and is a bit of a mystery at first. Slowly you start learning more and more about him and how tied into this case he is. However, Mac has been dreaming about him for years!

I loved how their relationship isn't an insta love. They definately have a connection but it's not the crazy head over heals I'll do anything from the minute I saw you kind. Mac is so easy to love and I could totally see myself being friends with her. She starts off pretty closed off but does open up throughout the story. She is real though; the things she sees and goes through takes a toll on her like it would anyone. She has a complete melt down and it makes her so much more real then all the invincible leading women we read about a lot and it makes me love her that much more.

There is a bit of a cliffhanger and I cannot wait for book 2!!!!! Epiphany was very well written and I am so glad I had the opportunity to review it! I will definately be reading more from Christina Jean Michaels!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Cheers,
Erika

Christina Jean Michaels was born in Paradise, California, but she has found the true home of her heart in Eugene, Oregon where she finds plenty of inspiration for storytelling.

When she was young, her mother said she hated words. Now she can't imagine not writing. She became an avid reader when she was thirteen and discovered the world of Sweet Valley High. About a year later she realized she could play God and write about her own characters. She has been writing in some form ever since.

She's also written erotica under the pseudonym of Gemma James and loves to explore the darker side of sex in her fiction. She's morbidly curious about anything dark and edgy and enjoys exploring the deviant side of human nature. Her stories have been described as being "not for the faint of heart."

Christina lives with her husband and their four children--three rambunctious UFC/wrestling-loving boys and one girl who steals everyone's attention.
