Celeste is a normal teenage girl. 
After the loss of her father her life seems to be in constant turmoil.

I was born in Jackson, MI but now live on Long Island in NY. I have four beautiful daughters whom I live and breathe for. I began writing as a hobby, but realized very quickly that it was an outlet to explore my deepest dreams. I love to read and have a problem with honesty when I write reviews, although I do not have a problem if you tell me I'm wrong about it. My debut novel is “Sudden Hope” and will be released in April of 2013.

This story is so much more than one of a senior in high school. This is about the twists and turns that come with it, survival, love, despair and yes... Hope.

Celeste's story will make you feel everything in it and more, feelings you didn't expect. You'll root for her, cry with her and fear for her.

Celeste, 17 years old has gone through more than any teenager should, any adult should. She loses the one person that means the most to her; her father. Unexpectedly has his life taken from him, a ring stolen, an innocent bystander in the right place at the wrong time.

If not for her friends, (reminds me of the brat pack), Celeste "CC" may not have made it through the circumstances, her fears, nightmares and worst of all the betrayal from none other than her mother. After her father is taken from her, Celeste's mother re-marries, the step father from hell. Night after night she fears the worst, what will happen and her mother is of no help. The one person she loves and wants to be with, doesn't feel the same about her, or does he? One day she learns the truth, the answer to the question that has nagged her. The 2 people responsible are finally revealed. How could she have missed the signs, what was right in front of her all his time.

Finally, the day she turns 18, a day for celebration.. Can it go off without a hitch? What will she do if one of her friends calls upon her? Read on and find out those answers and more.
