Mine by Katy Evans Book Review

He's mine, and I'm his. Our love is all-consuming, powerful,
imperfect, and real...

In the international bestseller REAL, the unstoppable bad boy of the Underground fighting circuit finally met his match. Hired to keep him in prime condition, Brooke Dumas unleashed a primal desire in Remington "Riptide" Tate as vital as the air he breathes... and now he can't live without her.

Brooke never imagined she would end up with the man who is every woman's dream, but not all dreams end happily ever after, and just when they need each other the most, she is torn away from his side. Now with distance and darkness between them, the only thing left is to fight for the love of the man she calls MINE.

My Life in 8 Words: “Hectic, wonderful, complete; everything I ever wanted.”

Katy Evans grew up with books and book-boyfriends until she found a real sexy boyfriend to love. They married and are now hard at work on their own happily ever after. Katy loves her family and friends, and she also loves reading, walking, baking, and being consumed by her characters until she reaches “The End.” Which is, hopefully, only the beginning…

Wow, I don't even know where to begin with this story. Katy Evans you are a genius and where would we be without Remy and Brooke? The story begins pretty much where book 1 ends. It's a new season and Remy is ready to claim his title that he lost the last time. In the beginning we read what Brooke feels for Remy, which we know this of course, so I feel that a lot could be taken out and not repeated. She still struggles with some insecurities and they have to overcome a lot. So many twists and turns and kept me hooked from beginning to end waiting for something else to happen. So many emotions throughout the book. My heart goes out to both Remy and Brooke. Remy is the idealistic of what an ALPHA male is. He's so dark, sexy, fierce and protective.

You get to see a lot of Remy's past come out and you get to see a new light into his "bipolar", his darkness. A lot of questions are answered and we also see things from book one that really wasn't answered and we get a look into how destroyed Remy really was when Brooke left him.  I love how much he loves Brooke with everything that he is. It's just so real that it leaves you breathless, it's like she lives within him.

Get ready for one heck of roller coaster ride! I can't wait to get inside Remy's head on November 26th!

Cheers,
  Holly
