The release date for arbitrate has been set for October 29, 2013.
Remember The Second Chance Institute (SCI). Earth's benevolent non-profit by day, Thera's totalitarian regime by night. They’ve stepped up their game on Earth and on Thera—infiltrating political parties, preying on the downtrodden, and planning offensive maneuvers. And they’re handing out more “second chances” than ever before. The SCI’s abuse of their charter leads to Arbiter oversight and bitter consequences.
Remember Kira Donovan. Broken, burdened, and evading those who wish her harm, Kira enlists the Arbiters’ help when forced to return to the clutches of the SCI and her angry, estranged love.
Remember Blake Sundry. Exiled, determined, and packing an agenda, Blake seeks assistance on Earth and Thera to use his newfound knowledge to bring down the SCI.
Remember Ethan Darcton. Overworked, emotional, and holding a grudge, Ethan hunts down his stolen property, but finds himself in awkward territory, stuck between the Arbiters and the SCI.
Full of action, competing agendas, romantic entanglements, humor, twists and turns, arbitrate is Megan Thomason's third installment in the award-winning daynight series after daynight and clean slate complex (a daynight story).
Praise for daynight
2012 Book of the Year Award Finalist-Young Adult Fiction, ForeWord Reviews
"Sure to win over YA readers looking for a dangerous, dystopian adventure story" —Kirkus Reviews
"Gripping young adult dystopian novel; compelling conflicts; high stakes; powerful narrative; surprises keep coming; strong writing; page-turner; engaging characters; Readers will be hungry for the sequels.”—BlueInk Review (starred review)
"Thomason's description of Thera's totalitarianism will make fans of Brave New World shiver... SCI, her fantasy corporation, has disturbing parallels to actual companies and regimes that claim to do good while harming people... The author deftly appeals to both romance-loving teens as well as those intrigued by young adults fighting the establishment.”—ForeWord Clarion Review, 4 stars

Holy crap....Megan Thomason I totally wasn't expecting all the craziness that occurred with this one, WOW! Needless to say this series has kept me on pins and needles the whole way through.
Calling all my dystopian lovers, READ this series.
**Please note if you haven't read book one stop reading this review now because you will be completely confused. **
Ok let's recap at the end of book one Kira is prego with Ethan and Blake's baby. The SCI is doing what they do best, playing God. Ethan is back in the US finishing law school and helping with his uncles campaign. Blake is still working with the exilers secretly. Oh ya jax is protecting Kira and the babies, but there is chemistry between them for sure. I'm telling you every time he said "love" I got warm fuzzies, lol.
I loved how Mrs. Thomason gave me just about everyone's POV. I never had to guess/assume what anyone was thinking. I'll start with Kira because honestly she's the focus. Ummm let's see, she has a nervous break down while on the run (serious terrors who only could be calmed by jax, fist pumps) and oh ya she had three babies not two. Yup that's correct she has three baby daddies.... Ethan, Blake and jax. At this point I literally had my mouth open but secretly was cheering for jax because he was in the fight for her heart. In the misdt of the pregancy she is almost abducted/drugged and one baby (Aiden/Blake's son) is stolen.
Now a mother, let the baby daddy drama begin. Ethan is not mr. Nice guy anymore he's actually a jealous dick at moments in this one. He thought Kira was dead so he felt betrayed and yes this man can hold a grudge. Blake well he is preoccupied trying to save his son and helping the exilers in secret. I'm not going to lie the secondary characters made this book! Throw crazy cousin josh, Ethan's new girlfriend, Blake's crazy want to be girlfriend, and Ethan's estranged father in the mix that equals one earth shattering fallout.
As this one finally plays out we see there is achain of command, SCI does have its limits which makes them soooooo unhappy. Thank you arbritar council and B you awesome genitor. If your wondering what a genitor is, let me say just pure awesomeness and a force to be reckoned with. This book was awesome. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. This one has everything BETYRAL , Broken/mended hearts, untimely death, new life, new love, and new beginnings. I will end by saying i am team jax 100 percent! That man is a dream.
Great job Mrs. Thomason.
Cheers,
