Free Falling by Kristy Moseley Book Review

Blurb:
They say that your school years are supposed to be the best years of your life, and that you should make the most of them because you’ll miss them when you’re all grown up. Up until Maisie Preston’s senior year, she would have totally agreed with that statement. Life was great, she had everything going for her, excellent grades, great parents, an annoying yet caring twin brother, and an impossibly sweet boyfriend.

Everything was perfect - that is until the arrival of Zach Anderson. A misfit delinquent that seemed to bring with him a lot of bad karma. Is it just a coincidence that his arrival marks a significant change in Maisie’s life? Up until senior year, life was perfect, but things seem to be going downhill fast.

This is a companion novel for ‘Always You’ — though this novel stands alone so there is no need to read Always You first.

Meet Kristy:
Kirsty Moseley has always been a passionate reader since she was a little girl, devouring books overnight, barely sleeping and paying for it at school the next day. Writing has come similarly to her and once she discovered Wattpad, she finally plucked up the courage to post one of her stories. Seven million reads later, she self-published her debut novel THE BOY WHO SNEAKS IN MY BEDROOM WINDOW, which later became one of 10 Finalists for the 2012 Goodreads' Choice Awards, Best YA Fiction. Shocked and overwhelmed by the response, she published her second novel ALWAYS YOU a few months later.

If she had to sum herself up in one word, it would probably be 'daydreamer' - but unlike most of her school teachers, she doesn't necessarily view that as a bad thing. After all, she read somewhere once that books are like waking dreams....

She lives in Norfolk, England with her husband and son.

Book Review:

I can honestly say every kristy Moseley book I've read has left me an emotional wreck with a mound of tissue next to me. This one was no different, however this wasn't your typical love story by mrs. Moseley. This book is a companion novel to always you which featured Riley and clay  aka now the Preston's. Free falling  is the story of Maisie Preston, yup Riley and Clays little girl.

Maisie is your typical 18 year old girl in love. Her life revolves around her boyfriend Luke. She is the girl next door, good grades, popular, etc. But things change for her when she's faced with heartbreak, yup the BF couldn't keep it in his pants, smh. Trying to find herself, become more independent and recover from a broken heart , her life continues to spin out if control. Throw an over protective twin brother  ( loved him), heart throb bad boy( Zach who by the way is also a stuntman in training and makes her heart flutter all the time), and a crazy stalker in the mix.....oh boy what a story.

With the crazy threats/stalking maddness going on Maisie finds comfort in the arms of LUKE. WTH your probably asking... Well ya I was too especially since he always was there to save the day in her moment Of need. I was really cheering for Zach/Maisie in this book but the heart wants what the heart wants. It just seemed so many other things overshadowed them actually having a chance.

This book was a tough one for me. Many of The decisions/choices Maisie made I honestly can't imagine or understand WTH she was thinking. You have to read this one guys to fully understand what I'm saying. I can honestly say Maisie Preston had to be one of the most forgiving characters I've read in a while.

I liked this book. However is didn't quite grasp my attention from beginning to end as other books have by mrs. Moseley. I do look forward to reading more of Maisie's story in the future.

Good job mrs. Mosley

Book rating: 3.5 stars/C
