Let me start by saying I have been a huge fan of mrs. Gammons work since is all started with Maggie and Seth I'm book 1. If you haven't read any of her previous books in this series I strongly encourage you to do so, you won't regret it. I have to admit this book left me gasping saying please say it ain't sooooo... The epilogue, there are truly no words but holy cow what a way to end a series.
We where introduced to booker in the first two book but it's finally his turn for love. This is Tess/bookers story and it's one full of haunting pasts. Tess is a woman in hiding and booker is a man trying to find love in a good woman who happens to love guns lol. The banter of this close knit group of friends makes for a great read. The chemistry between Tess and booker was just as hot as books 1 & 2. The action packed in this one as well was just as great.
Mrs. Gammon overall what a way to end a series. That epilogue though, geez!!!!
