Hope Breaks by Alice Bello Review

What do you do when your life seems to be spiraling out of control?  About to lose your job if you can't come up with a winner.  Winner of what!  A book cover for a Young Adult Novel.  Yes that is what hope is facing.

Barely leaving her house, kind of a hermit life style, she is a photographer whose life financially at least depends on an author more picky than the devil himself.  What she has submitted has been rejected and the author threatens to take her business elsewhere.  Hope's boss obviously isn't happy and lays out that "ultimatum."

So by luck or not she is at the local Wal-mart,, spots a young man, who thinks she is a pedophile.  Once explained about her looks and a job offer for he and his girlfriend.  Then the dominoes keep falling, now her car won't start.  Enter Jake.  Hot, gorgeous and just O M G!  He remembers Hope, but unfortunately she doesn't remember him.  He gives her a ride home,, date one, he gets her car fied, drops it off, date 2 and yes it includes pizza... Date 3 a Jimmy Buffett concert, and a night like none other.  After submitting her pictures of the two young love birds and being rejected again for her submission, Hope stumbles across her camera, wondering how it got there. Time is ticking for her in more ways than one.  She plugs her camera into her laptop and up comes these pictures she has no idea how they were taken... One after another.  Her choice is made, she submits a picture, her publisher and the author love it and all is well.  Or is it?

How do you face betraying someone to save yourself?

Hope finds herself breaking "hope breaks" as she watches Jake walking out of her life.  Was he right to do so?

About Alice Bello

Let me introduce myself. I'm forty--which isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I live to read and love to write. I love romance, comedy, brooding and sparkly vampires, and I love pizza. I have a dog named Jack, and I work somewhere I have to wear a blue top and brown pants (you can probably guess).
I've just written my first romance. Erotic, funny, about 35,000 words, so it's a novella, and hopefully a good one. I'm working to get it reviewed while I write the second part. I'm planning on having three 30,000 words novellas in the series.
Hope Breaks
Hope Entangles
Hope Rises
Wish me luck.
