Grounded by RK LILLEY BOOK REVIEW

AMAZON BOOK DESCRIPTION

Grounded, Book 3 in the Up In The Air Trilogy.

James and Bianca’s story draws to a close in the explosive conclusion to the Up In The Air Trilogy.

After a short but earnest courtship, Bianca can no longer deny her feelings for James, and though she’s tried her hardest, she can’t help but see that he cares deeply for her, as well. In a completely uncharacteristic move, she has put aside her misgivings and agreed to live with the enigmatic billionaire. Is her leap of faith the beginning of something wonderful, or is it too much, too fast?

As James and Bianca feel a growing need for each other that neither can deny, circumstances beyond their control intervene, trying to tear them apart. Amidst the ever mounting threat of a monster who wants Bianca dead, and the constant pitfalls of an indiscreet past that James can’t seem to escape, can these two passionate lovers manage to find their happily ever after?

Book Review

To say that I was anxiously awaiting the release of this book is an understatement. The first two books of this series left me seriously wanting more. I mean what’s not to love, James is a beautiful broken billionaire alpha male who knows his way around a horse (MY GOODNESS.Ya you know what i'm talking about”THE HORSE BACK SCENE” from book #2.yup I was a goner then).

Let’s just say book #3 didn't let me down. If anything I going to say it was my favorite of the entire series. In this book we see GROWTH of the characters, and I couldn't have asked for a better end to a trilogy. Oh don’t get me wrong there was still plenty of drama/craziness. James/Bianca are two broken people, but in this story they realize they need each other to heal. Finally TOGETHER, of course the road is paved with some serious bumps. Sex tapes, crazy ex girlfriends, Bit** slapping/I’m going dunk your face in a toilet moment (Bianca got a backbone ya’ll, fist pumps) and crazy murdering fathers. Know matter how bad the drama gets, they stay together (sigh moment).

“I have a fetish. I wasn’t even interested in a man until I found you, until I found this. That terrifies me too, how broken I am. But I also know I’m lucky, so lucky to have found someone so perfect for me, so safe, to help give me the things I need with out taking my self respect, and with out putting me in danger. You’re a gift to someone lime me, James. Don’t ever forget that.”--—Bianca

In this book Bianca is still struggling to deal with her past, but she is trying not to let is dictate her life. Through out the book, we see her struggle to completely show her true feelings for James. James on the other hand has no problem showing how much he loves Bianca. One part of James character in this book I really loved was his acceptance of Bianca/Stephan’s relationship. Also the way he called her “LOVE”I was complete mush every time I read that.

“I’m trying to join your family, not tear it apart, LOVE.”-- JAMES

The supporting characters in this book were just as awesome as in the first two books. My favorite hands down is Stephan. This man is so in tuned to Bianca’s emotions it’s scary. In this book Bianca and Stephan’s relationship grows if that’s even possible. The BOND they share as best friends is BEAUTIFUL (SIGH)..I think this quote from the book sums it up best

“I love you. There is nothing I wouldn’t do for you, but I can’t hold you back. We don’t have to be neighbors to be best friends, just like we didn’t have to live together. This move will be no different than that. We're growing up Bianca, but we will never grow apart. I know you to well, and I know that's part of what is holding you back, so just get that fear out of your head. You're stuck with me forever."--Stephan (SIGH)

My favorite part of this book was the last few chapters, the ending (PERFECT). All my emotions were on overdrive. I cried, I laughed and I cheered just to name a few things. The things these characters went through especially in the end were SUPER INTENSE. There are so many things that made this book great. The SEX SCENES were FREAKING AWESOME (although the HORSEBACK SCENE from book #2 still #1 in on my list). Also we got to read Stephan's a little POV (yaaaaaaaaa!!!).

I loved this series!!!! I’m seriously sad to see it end. Great job Mrs. Lilley for a wonderful book and series.

Book Rating: A/5 stars

Cheers,
