Avenge by sarah ross book review

Six months ago, Lucy Donovan thought that being killed by a drunk driver was the worst thing that could happen to her.
She was wrong.
Now, the person she loves most has been ripped away from her, soul held hostage, and Lucy has vowed to stop at nothing to get it back.
Part of a new team with enhanced powers, Lucy and her friends begin a quest to avenge the souls that have been stolen. Enemies of the Patronus have united however, and a spy from within the Patronus realm is feeding the enemy their every move.
When a mission goes horribly wrong, Lucy’s soul becomes compromised. It will take a strength she didn’t know was within her to escape the darkness, return to the light and avenge the soul she loves.

Sarah started her obsession with reading at an early age, often sneaking BabySitter Club and Nancy Drew books into math class. She would read any book she could get her hands on. Her love of reading quickly evolved into a love of writing and stories began to pour out of her.

She grew up in Pittsburgh, graduated from The University of Pittsburgh with a degree in English, and taught 8th graders to love reading as much as she does for several years. Sarah will always be a proud member of the Steelers' Nation, but couldn't take the cold and moved her frozen tush to Florida where she now lives with her family and two cats. You will find her now with her trusty Kindle in hand and toes in the sand!

Sarah's debut novel, AWAKEN, released in January, 2012. Other novels include AVENGE, ATONE, ECHO OF AN EARTH ANGEL, and INHALE EXHALE.

we’ve all come to love is here with her again to see her through her journey, heart break, change and so much more.  We meet again her sister Jessica, who has not been found, Lucy fears the worse still, she’s lost Jessica forever, or has she?  Have the vampires turned her for good, is all hope lost?  Wait! What is this you say, there’s a spy?  No not in the Patronus group.  Who could it be, why would they be a spy? Your guess is as good as theirs.  They plant sneaky lil traps hoping to catch the villain, but when they find out who it is, they are all blown away and just can’t believe that it is who it is.

In this story they visit Louisiana while they search for Lucy’s sister.  Things don’t turn out the way she or any member of the team planned on, in fact.  Well…

Does Lucy lose the love of her life? Is there really a place for thePatronus to go if they “die” do they “die?”  Her soul is one until the unthinkable happens then it is empty, can it be?  Does she and her team save her sister in time or is it too late?

Will love conquer all? Is there really happily ever after even in the afterlife?

Sarah has us all guessing and the answers are all waiting for you.

Cheers

Steph
